Expected upgrade costs, equipment stat gains, and replacement risk.
Star Force Priorities compares the next star targets across your saved equipment for your character. It combines each item's current stars, level, upgrade path, selected event, enhancement settings, and your saved character stats to estimate which target returns the most boss damage for its expected meso cost.
For every eligible item, the planner evaluates higher star targets and applies the added stats between the recorded star count and each target to the selected character's saved combat snapshot. The result is reported as estimated Final Damage. The ranking divides that gain by the expected meso cost, so a smaller upgrade can appear above a larger one when it is substantially more efficient.
Expected cost includes failed attempts and the meso cost of rebuilding after destruction. Replacement copies are treated as free, so the result does not include the market value or scarcity of spares. Open a row before enhancing to inspect its target-by-target comparison, average destruction count, median cost estimate, and the modes used at each current star.
Suppose a 17-star item ranks first with a recommended 18-star target. That means this single step has the strongest modeled gain per 10 billion expected mesos among the currently eligible choices; it does not mean the item should immediately be pushed through every later target. Compare its average cost with the simulated median, check destruction exposure and spare availability, then update the item's recorded stars after a successful enhancement so the entire list can be recalculated from the new state.
Character stats determine how ATT, main stat, secondary stat, and other gains translate into damage. Item level and current stars determine the enhancement costs and available targets. Event selection and enhancement modes change the expected route. If those inputs do not match the character or event you plan to use, the ranking can be directionally wrong even when the underlying probabilities are correct.
Star Force outcomes have high variance, and neither an average nor a simulated median guarantees what one session will cost. The ranking is a comparison of independent next upgrades, not a complete sequential spending plan. It excludes the purchase price of replacement equipment and cannot account for how difficult an item is to replace.
