How it works

What this calculator covers

The Astra Secondary Weapon is a Grandis progression weapon introduced in MapleStory v270. Eligible characters begin its quest line at Lv. 265 after meeting the Hotel Arcus and Genesis quest prerequisites. Mission I grants Astra Secondary Weapon I, which can be enhanced up to 15 Star Force. Missions II and III upgrade it to Astra Secondary Weapon II (up to 20) and III (up to 30). Astra Katara and Astra Talisman can be enhanced up to 30 stars regardless of quest progress.

Price every remaining Astra mission

Each mission is matched against the Traces of Battle and Vestiges of Erion your selected routine can earn. Mission I costs 600 Traces and 3,000 Vestiges, Mission II costs the same, and Mission III costs 800 Traces and 4,000 Vestiges. Enter your current mission, banked resources, highest completed Grandis daily, weekly frequency, boss difficulties, party sizes, and clears already completed this week to build a reset-by-reset schedule.

Reaching Weapon III on the next reset

Suppose you start August 17, 2026 on the final mission with 794 Traces and 3,935 Vestiges. Select one Geardock daily per week and a solo Normal Chosen Seren clear. The modeled Thursday reset adds 65 Vestiges from Geardock and 6 Traces from Seren, reaching the required 800 Traces and 4,000 Vestiges on August 20. The schedule therefore places final mission completion on that date.

How dailies and coupons enter the schedule

Projection dates depend on the routine remaining unchanged. The model repeats configured bosses at Thursday 00:00 UTC resets and places selected dailies on the earliest available days in each Thursday-to-Wednesday week; it does not know your actual future clear days. Boss Traces are split by party size and rounded down. Vestige coupon bundles use an equal-share planning assumption, even though actual coupon allocation is decided by the party rather than automatically divided by MapleStory.

The Trace cap and other boundaries

A character can hold at most 1,000 Traces. The planner tracks Traces that would be lost at that cap until a mission spends them, then continues the schedule with the remaining missions. It only credits the boss difficulties and daily frequency entered here; event rewards, missed clears, later upgrades, and future balance changes are omitted. Astra costs and reward rules were reviewed against MapleStory v270 on August 25, 2026.
