How it works

What this calculator covers

The EXP Calculator projects every future level through MapleStory's level 300 cap. Start from a standalone level and EXP percentage or a saved character, then combine custom grinding with the daily quests, Monster Park runs, Monster Park Extreme, Epic Dungeons, growth potions, and EXP items you actually expect to use.

  • Daily sources. Repeat selected quests, Monster Park runs, and custom grinding each eligible day.
  • Weekly sources. Place Monster Park Extreme and Epic Dungeon rewards on Thursday resets.
  • One-time items. Apply eligible growth potions and EXP items from the start of the plan.
  • Level milestones. Show the projected date and cumulative day count for every level gained.

Build the projection from your routine

The planner begins with your current level and EXP, then adds only the sources you enable. Daily Quest can follow every eligible region or a hand-picked route. Monster Park and Epic Dungeons can stay on one selection or automatically move to the highest eligible option as the character levels. Current-period controls prevent today's completed runs or this week's claimed rewards from being counted twice. Results separate recurring EXP from growth potions and other one-time items so the contribution of each source remains visible.

Two Thursday rewards in a level 290 plan

For a concrete schedule, begin on September 1, 2026 at level 290 with Monster Park Extreme enabled and no clear recorded for the current week. The inclusive calendar places rewards on Thursday, September 3 and Thursday, September 10. Mark the current week's clear as complete and the first reward moves to the following reset instead. This example demonstrates reset placement rather than a promised completion date: your remaining EXP and every other selected source still determine which level milestones those rewards reach.

How days, unlocks, and items advance

The start date is day one of the forecast. On each modeled day, eligible daily quests are applied before Monster Park and custom grinding. Weekly Monster Park Extreme and Epic Dungeon rewards use Thursday at 00:00 UTC. Automatic selections check eligibility when a reward is earned, so a newly unlocked daily begins on the next day while a newly unlocked weekly activity waits for its next eligible Thursday. Growth potions and EXP items are consumed from the opening date whenever their level rules allow them to grant progress.

What the estimate leaves out

A projection assumes the selected routine repeats without missed runs and that manually entered grinding EXP stays constant. Seasonal events are excluded, and the calculator cannot predict future balance changes, bonus effects, or how much EXP you will earn outside the enabled sources. Ineligible fixed activities cannot advance a plan by themselves. Forecasts stop at level 300 or after 36,500 modeled days. Treat milestone dates as planning estimates and revisit long schedules after a patch changes EXP tables or activity rewards.
