What this calculator covers
Pick a saved character and the optimizer finds the Hyper Stat setup that hits bosses the hardest with the points you have.
- Checks every setup. Every way to spend your points is tried, so you get the true best setup, not a rule of thumb.
- Saved per character. Your Hyper Stat levels are saved in this browser only and don't sync to other devices.
How it picks your setup
The stats in your character window already include your current Hyper Stats, so the optimizer takes those out first. Then it tries every way to spend your points on your main stat, secondary stat, ATT or Magic ATT, Damage, Boss Damage, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Ignore Defense, and keeps the setup that does the most boss damage.
It knows how your class scales. Xenon gets STR, DEX, and LUK. Shadower, Dual Blade, and Cadena get LUK, DEX, and STR. Demon Avenger gets Max HP and STR. It also knows that Critical Rate past 100% is wasted and that a stat you already have a lot of is worth less, so it balances your points instead of dumping them into one stat.
Arcane Power, Status Resistance, EXP, and other stats that don't add boss damage stay where you put them, and their points are set aside, since some content needs them.
Hyper Stat rules
Hyper Stats unlock at level 140. You get more points per level as you level up, for 1,699 points by level 300. Each level of a stat costs more than the last, and level 15 alone costs 110 points.
After 5th Job, every stat except DF/TF can go up to level 15. Before 5th Job, stats stop 5 levels lower. Characters level 200 and up are treated as having 5th Job.
A reset costs 10M mesos, but switching between your 3 presets is free, so you can keep one for bossing and one for training.
The level-up path
Shows your best setup for each of your next 10 levels, assuming your gear stays the same. Add means you only spend your new points. Reset means the best setup moves points out of a stat, which needs a reset.
It can't predict new gear, Symbols, or Legion. Update your stats after a big upgrade to get a fresh plan.
What it doesn't cover
This is for bossing. Training stats like Normal Monster Damage and EXP aren't optimized.
