How the max date is calculated
Each tracked Symbol begins with the level and current Symbol count you enter. The planner walks forward one UTC calendar day at a time, adds each regional daily reward on the shared schedule, and applies Arcane weekly gains at the Thursday 12:00 AM UTC reset. If the shared dailies or Arcane weeklies are already complete, those gains are skipped for the current period so they are not counted twice.
Arcane Symbols use their level 20 progression curve. Sacred and Grand Sacred Symbols use their level 11 curve. The overall completion date is the latest max date among all tracked Symbols.
GMS v271 reward assumptions
The v271 Level-Up Flow Revamp raised every Arcane River daily to 40 Symbols and each Arcane River weekly clear to 80 Symbols. Cernium now grants 30 Sacred Symbols per daily. Hotel Arcus, Odium, Shangri-La, Arteria, and Carcion grant 15 Sacred Symbols, while Tallahart and Geardock grant 15 Grand Sacred Symbols.
One daily frequency applies to every tracked Symbol. Arcane weekly clears apply to every tracked Arcane Symbol and can be set from zero to three. Event selectors, drops, and other non-routine Symbol income are outside this calculator.
What the estimated date means
Each individual date is the first projected day that Symbol has enough income to reach its maximum level. The overall date is the latest of those individual dates, so it answers when every active Symbol is projected to be maxed.
These are Symbol acquisition dates. They do not model a meso earning schedule, enhancement timing, or whether mesos are available on each level-up day. A stalled row means its selected routine provides no future Symbol income.
What must be entered manually
MapleIsland's character lookup does not expose equipped Symbol levels, current Symbol counts, regional story completion, or claimed quest state. A new character plan preselects Symbols whose level requirement the character meets, but this is only a setup shortcut: review the selection if that character has not finished a region's story.
The projection also excludes future region unlocks driven by EXP, Arcane Catalyst transfers, missed-day calendars with individually selected weekdays, and automatic seasonal rewards. Adjust daily frequency and extra gains to model those cases explicitly. Estimates beyond the planner's 100-year safety horizon are reported as stalled.
