How it works

What this calculator covers

Star Force Calculator

Star Force outcomes swing widely: two players pushing the same item can spend very different amounts. This luck check simulates 100,000 runs with your exact item level, star range, discounts, events, Enhancement Mode, and Safeguard choice, then places the mesos and booms you actually spent within that distribution.

  • Meso luck. The share of simulated runs that cost more than yours. This is the headline result.
  • Boom luck. The share of simulated runs with more destroyed items than yours.
  • Still going. Unfinished runs are projected by finishing from your current star thousands of times.
  • Repeatable. The same inputs always give the same result, so shared links match.

How the luck percentile is calculated

The calculator reuses the Star Force Calculator engine and GMS v271 rates, including the permanent 5% success bonus that replaced Star Catching, boom reset stars, MVP discounts below 17 stars, Sunny Sunday effects, Enhancement Modes, and Safeguard between 15 and 17 stars. It runs 100,000 seeded simulations from your starting star to your target and records each run's enhancement mesos and booms. Your meso luck is the share of those runs that cost more than you did, counting exact ties as half. A result of 80% means you were luckier than 80% of modeled players making the same push.

When you are still going, the calculator adds what it would cost to finish from your current star, repeated 20,000 times, and averages where each projected total would land. That gives a fair estimate instead of assuming you finish on the next click.

Example: a 17-to-22-star push

A level 200 item going from 17 to 22 stars with Mode 1, no Safeguard, and no events has a median cost of about 22.5 billion mesos and a median of 5 booms, but the average is above 31 billion because unlucky runs are very expensive. If you finished for 12 billion mesos with 2 booms, you were luckier than most players. If the same push cost you 60 billion mesos and 12 booms, you landed in the unlucky tail, and the chart shows how rare that is.

What to enter

Enter only the mesos spent on enhancement attempts, and count each destroyed item as one boom. Leave out what you paid for replacement items, traces, or transfer fodder, because those prices vary by server and item. Use the same discounts and events that applied during your run. If you switched Enhancement Modes or Safeguard partway through, choose the setting you used most; the Star Force Calculator's per-star plan is better for comparing mixed strategies.

Limits and what this does not predict

A luck percentile describes a finished result against the modeled odds; it cannot predict your next attempt, and every click stays independent. The estimate assumes one Enhancement Mode and Safeguard setting for the whole run and leaves out Superior equipment, special replacement rules, and events outside the listed options. Simulated percentiles carry small sampling variance, so treat results within a point or two as the same.
